FOOD DRIVE: Saturday, November 16th at Safeway on Horizon Drive Sponsored by Townsquare Media
If you are thinking about volunteering your time with the Community Food Bank: thank you!
It is no exaggeration to say that we could not do this without the tireless support of our volunteers. The level of service we are able to provide is directly impacted by the selfless individuals who serve day after day, providing food to those in need. Thousands of hours are given each year, by committed volunteers working to keep our warehouse stocked and clean, at events and in our front office.
According to Independent Sector, which calculates the value of volunteer time each year, the value of one hour of volunteer time in Colorado is $25.68—a benefit to the Community Food Bank and its clients worth well over $100,000 each year.
