Why Support CFB?
The Community Food Bank of Grand Junction plays a crucial role in our Grand Valley community. For 1 out of 14 individuals in our service area, CFB serves as a beacon of hope, enabling them to provide for their families during challenging times. We recognize it is not just the houseless and unemployed who need our help, but also children, the working poor, low-income seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
Fun Fact: Every week, CFB provides nourishment to over 6,000 people monthly and distributes nearly 900,000 pounds of food annually to those in need within our community.
Benefits of Conducting a Food Drive:
Recognizing the value of time and the importance of efficiency for your organization's success, our toolkit offers both time-proven and creative suggestions to optimize your efforts in supporting the Community Food Bank, while providing the following advantages to your organization:
Team building
Showcasing your organization as a charitable entity
Engaging with the community within your service area
Providing community service opportunities for staff members
