November 2023 - Rick & Julie M.

Help us congratulate Rick & Julie M. for being our November 2023 Volunteers of the Month! Here’s a little bit about them:

1. Are you from the valley?  If not, where? and what brought you here? We moved to Grand Junction, May 2022 from Green River, Wyoming. Rick retired and we moved here to be closer to our son and grandkids.

2. What is your favorite thing about the Grand Valley? The climate.

3. What do you like to do when you're not at the Food Bank? Spend time with the grandkids and go sightseeing.

4. What motivated you to get involved in the Food Bank, and how long have you been volunteering with us? We like to give back to the community and help the less fortunate. Rick started September 2022. I started January 2023.

5. Anything else you'd like to share with the rest of the awesome volunteer team? We really enjoy working with the staff and volunteers.
